Take-offs after midnight are not allowed at the Berlin airport and as the take-off time is one and a half minutes, it was necessary to request a special authorization from the authorities of the federal state of Brandenburg, which was not granted.
"The Brandenburg authorities do not know what they have done to our team," Bayern Munich Chairman of the Board of Directors Karlheinz Rummenigge told the daily "Bild".
Bayern traveled with 22 players and without Javi MartÃnez or Leon Goretzka who have passed the coronavirus but it is not ruled out that they will later join the team.
